About Transupport

Our Mission

Our mission is to locate and distribute turbine engines, components, and parts through the collaborative efforts of our local team of experts, our worldwide network of business partners, and our official manufacturing partners. More specifically, we aim to be your go-to stocking supplier of all spares for the T53, T55, and AGT1500 gas turbine engines. Transupport is also an authorized distributor for Triumph Systems & Support, supplying and supporting fuel system components such as fuel regulators, boost pumps, and governors for a variety of aircraft.

Our History

1972

Transupport's Founding

Transupport was established in 1972 by Harold Foote at his home in Shelton, Connecticut. Harold founded the company with the single goal of being a stocking supplier of spare parts for the T53 gas turbine engines.

1979

Shelton, Connecticut

In 1979 Transupport opened its first official warehouse, a 10,000 square foot warehouse on Canal Street in Shelton, Connecticut.

1985

HAI Member

Transupport becomes an official Helicopter Association International (HAI) member.

1985

1987

Naugatuck, Connecticut

In need of bigger space to accommodate a growing business, Transupport moved to a 12,000 square foot warehouse and first office in Naugatuck, Connecticut in 1987.

1987

1993

Merrimack, New Hampshire

Transupport relocated to Merrimack, New Hampshire in April of 1993 to a 24,000 square foot warehouse. In 1998, Transupport moved down the road to Turbine Way, to an even bigger facility. Now Transupport sits on a 13-acre parcel of property and houses over 50,000 square feet of engines and spare parts, as well as a heliport for visitors.

2016

Founding NHADEC

The New Hampshire Aerospace & Defense Export Consortium (NHADEC) is created in 2016. Transupport is one of the original six founding companies.

Transupport Today

Transupport is now a third generation owned and operated family business. For five decades, engine support has grown from locally to encompassing the globe. Our team of specialists have developed a world-wide network, locating and distributing hard to find parts, major components and complete engines.
